RIBBONS DROP DOUBLEHEADER TO NATIONALS

The Blue Ribbons dropped to 3-11 in Wisconsin State League play, as they dropped a pair of games to the West Allis Nationals on Saturday.

Game one turned ugly quickly, as the Nationals exploded for 16 runs in the first inning, before cruising to a 20-0 victory over Greater Green Bay.

Game two proved to be a bit more competitive, as the Blue Ribbons offense put up six runs, but their pitching continued to struggle, as they dropped the back end of their doubleheader by a score of 11-6.

Trent Van Ess homered in game two, while Noah Robinson went 3-for-5.
