GREEN BAY VICTORIOUS OVER DENMARK

By GameChanger Media- Green Bay bested Denmark Devilbears 5-4 on Thursday. The Devilbears were the first to get on the board in the second when Luke Miller drew a walk, scoring one run. Denmark extended their early lead with two runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI walks by Bryce Urbahnec and Jereme Jensen.

Green Bay took the lead, 4-3, in the top of the fifth thanks to singles by Ethan Habetler, and Eason Hurd.
Alex Petasek earned the win for the Blue Ribbons. The left-handed pitcher surrendered one hit and zero runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking three. Ethan Plog led things off on the hill for Green Bay. The left-handed pitcher gave up three hits and three runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking seven. Tanner Alsteen collected the save.

Ethan Habetler led Green Bay with three runs batted in. He went 2-for-4 on the day. Habetler and Brady LaViolette each collected two hits. Jake Lucas led Green Bay with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up 10 walks for the game.

The Blue Ribbons head to Kenosha for a four-game set this weekend, then play their final home game of the season on Wednesday against Manitowoc Bandits.
