BLUE RIBBONS SIGN LARSON, KRUMREI

The Green Bay Blue Ribbons added a pair of exciting young players to their roster on Wednesday with the signings of infielders Hunter Larson and Dylan Krumrei.

Larson, who attended college at St. Norbert, had most recently been playing for the Boise Hawks, a professional independent league team in the Pioneer League, which was previously an affiliate of the Colorado Rockies before the league became a MLB Partner League in 2021 when MiLB re-aligned.

A middle infielder with experience at both second base and shortstop, Larson hit .334 over his three seasons with the Green Knights, starting 109 career games there.

Krumrei, a graduate of Oshkosh North High School, began his college career at Bradley University, before transferring to St. Thomas this season.

He returns to the Blue Ribbons after playing five games with the team last season, where he went 3-for-15 with a home run and four runs batted in while playing both second base and third base.
