LEGENDS ROLL OVER BLUE RIBBONS

Greater Green Bay dropped their seventh consecutive game, as they fell to Appleton by a score of 14-4 on Thursday night.

The Ribbons looked like they were in position to snap their losing streak when they put up three runs in the first and added another in the second, but it was all Appleton after that. The Legends put up three in the third, four in the fourth, three in the fifth, two in the sixth, and then added two more in the eighth for the final total.

Daisuke Sasaki led the offense, reaching base three times out of the leadoff spot, collecting a single and a pair of walks. Trent Van Ess and Jayden Adrians each added a base hit, while Griffin Summers drew a pair of walks.
