GREEN BAY FALLS TO SHEBOYGAN IN FINAL NEWBL GAME OF THE YEAR
The Blue Ribbons finished off their abbreviated 2020 season on Friday night in Sheboygan, falling to the A’s by a score of 12-2.
Green Bay got on the scoreboard first, when second baseman Brett Reinhart led off the third inning with a triple and then came in to score when Yuta Kudo ripped a double into the right-center gap.
It would be all Sheboygan from there however, as the A’s put up five runs in their half of the third, and then tacked on four more in the fourth to open up a 9-1 lead.
The Ribbons would add one more run in the eighth as Reinhart doubled and Luke Gajewski drove him in with a double of his own, but that would be as close as they would get, as Sheboygan added to their lead with a run in the seventh and two more in the eighth to close out the ballgame.
