A’S TAKE DOUBLEHEADER FROM GREATER GREEN BAY
The Blue Ribbons dropped a pair of games to Kewaskum on Sunday afternoon, losing game one by a score of 11-1, before dropping game two by a final of 7-5.
Kewaskum carried a 3-1 lead into the sixth inning in a relatively close game one, but then the A’s exploded for eight runs in the top of the sixth to run away with an easy victory.
Catcher Lane Sobieski recorded three hits in three trips to the plate to lead the Greater Green Bay offense and third baseman Ethan Habetler added a pair of base hits.

In game two, the Ribbons took an early lead with a run in the bottom of the first when left fielder Jacob Lacy scored on an RBI single by second baseman Matt Bald, but the A’s broke through with five runs in the fourth, then added single runs in both the sixth and seventh innings to take a 7-1 lead.
Greater Green Bay tried to mount a rally in the seventh with the help of some shoddy Kewaskum defense, and they pulled within two runs at 7-5, bringing the tying run to the plate, but they couldn’t get any closer and dropped the back half of the doubleheader as well.
