Ky Mueller and Matthew Eberhardt combined to hold Greenville to just one run on three hits on Tuesday night, and Dawson Schmidt hit his first home run as a Blue Ribbon as Green Bay picked up a 5-1 win in NEWBL action.
Mueller got the start and went five innings, striking out six batters and allowing only two hits. Eberhardt followed and went the rest of the way, giving up just one hit over four scoreless frames.
Schmidt paced the offense, going 3-for-5 with a home run and two runs batted in, while Trevor Vande Hey added two hits and Brayden Pleau reached base three times with a single and a pair of walks.
