Green Bay grabbed an early 3-0 lead on Tuesday night, but it was all Greenville the rest of the way, as the Stars rattled off 19 straight runs in an easy 19-4 win over the Blue Ribbons.
Newcomer Dawson Schmidt was one of the bright spots on offense for Green Bay, going 2-for-3 with a walk, while Bryan Gerbers added a triple and two RBI.
Riker Blahnik got the start and took the loss after giving up eight runs over 3.1 innings. First baseman James Bornick mopped up the final 2.2 innings in the loss.
