With a roster decimated by injury and a pitching staff running on fumes, the Blue Ribbons still found a way to win both ends of their doubleheader on Sunday in Kewaskum.
Game one saw the A’s score nine runs in the first inning, but rather than roll over and die, the Blue Ribbons bats came to life, as they rallied to score four in the second, two in the third, two in the fifth and then three in the sixth to pick up a 12-10 win.
The big blast came off the bat of Payton Kohnle, who hit his first home run of the year, a two-run shot in the top of the sixth that broke a 10-10 tie and proved to be the winning margin for Green Bay.
Kohnle, Brady LaViolette, Drew Siudzinski and Zachary Grossman each finished with three hits, while Boone Kirst drove in four runs, and Sawyer Larson tossed two scoreless innings of relief to pick up the save.

In game two, Green Bay grabbed an early 3-0 lead, and never trailed from there, tacking on single runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings to notch a 6-3 victory.
Easton Arendt led the offense, going 4-for-4, while Boone Kirst added three hits.
Starting pitcher Tavian Ramos went five innings, allowing just two runs to earn the win, and Ian Aoki worked the final two frames to earn the save.
