RIBBONS WALKOFF STARS IN TENTH

The Blue Ribbons had to rally for the second night in a row, but they came back late and then walked it off when Trevor Vande Hey drove in Payton Kohnle in the bottom of the tenth for a 10-9 win over the Greenville Stars on Thursday night.

Shortstop George McIntyre led the way for Green Bay, reaching base in all five of his trips to the plate. He singled, doubled twice, tripled and was hit by a pitch, while catcher Dimitry Edmunds added two hits and scored a pair runs, and third baseman Eason Hurd contributed three RBI.

Ky Mueller turned in a strong performance out of the bullpen, going 3 1/3 innings without allowing a hit while striking out nine, and Joe Anderson picked up the win in relief, with a scoreless tenth inning.

The Blue Ribbons are off on Friday, then head to Sheboygan this weekend for the Wisconsin State League’s Fifth Game Challenge.
