BLUE RIBBONS DROP SLUGFEST AT JOANNES

APPLETON DEFEATS GREATER GREEN BAY 18-8

The Greater Green Bay Blue Ribbons dropped their third game in a row on Thursday night, as they fell to the Appleton Legends by a final score of 18-8.

Appleton put up crooked numbers in the first and third, jumping out to an early 11-2 lead. The Ribbons tried to answer back, putting up two runs in the third and another in the fourth before chipping away to make it 12-8 with a three-run sixth inning.

That would be as close as Greater Green Bay would get however, as the Legends tacked on single runs in the seventh and eighth before putting things away with a four-run ninth inning.
