RIBBONS ROUGHED UP BY LEGENDS
The Blue Ribbons gave up ten runs in the first three innings and were unable to dig themselves out of the hole as they lost to Appleton by a score of 14-1 on Wednesday night.
The Legends scored a run in the first, five in the second and four in the third before the Ribbons finally got on the board in the fifth when Jacob Lacy led off the inning with a base hit and then moved to third on a double by Eric Modaff before coming home to score on a Griffin Summers RBI single.
Appleton tacked on four more in the sixth however, and cruised to an easy victory.
