BLUE RIBBONS DROP FIFTH STRAIGHT
The Blue Ribbons hit the road on Monday night to take on the Menasha Macs in a Northeast Wisconsin Baseball League clash at Koslo Park, but the offense continued to sputter as they managed just one run in a 5-1 loss.
Greater Green Bay scored the first run of the game, when Eli Kramer delivered a two-out double and then came around to score on a base hit by third baseman Dylan Krumrei.
Menasha came right back with two runs in their half of the second to take the lead, and then they tacked on three more in the sixth against starter Trevor Olmsted.
Second baseman Matt Bald led the Blue Ribbons offense, going 3-for-5, and leadoff man Eric Modaff was on base four times, drawing three walks to go along with a single.
