The Blue Ribbons hosted the Denmark Devilbears on Friday night for their Christmas in July game, but came up on the losing end, falling to Denmark by a score of 4-1.
Adam Gutschow led the Green Bay offense, going 2-for-4 with a double, while Daisuke Sasaki added a pair of base hits.
Sam Phillip got the start and suffered the loss, after allowing three runs over 3.1 innings, but Tony Marquardt turned in a strong performance on the mound, going 3.2 scoreless innings and giving up just two hits.
The Blue Ribbons host Kenosha for a pair of Wisconsin State League doubleheaders this weekend, before beginning NEWBL tournament play on Monday night at Joannes Stadium
