The Blue Ribbons dropped their second straight game on Wednesday night, falling to Sheboygan by a score of 5-3.
The A’s grabbed an early lead, but Green Bay responded with runs in the third and fourth to go on top 2-1.
Sheboygan tied the game back up with a run in the fifth, but the Ribbons answered back with a run in the bottom of the sixth to make it 3-2.
The A’s claimed the lead in the following inning, putting up two runs, then tacked on an insurance run in the eighth, shutting the Greater Green Bay offense down the rest of the way.
Starting pitcher Liam Jones turned in a quality start, going six innings while allowing just two runs and striking out four. Second baseman Adam Gutschow led the offense, collecting a single and a double, while Josh Gates drew a pair of walks and Jayden Adrians added a double.
