RIBBONS ROUTE POLAR BEARS 21-4

Noah Robinson drove in four runs on two hits to lead Green Bay Blue Ribbons past Two Rivers Polar Bears 21-4 on Wednesday. Robinson tripled in the fifth inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the second inning, scoring one.

Two Rivers Polar Bears opened the scoring in the first after Casey Stenzel singled, scoring one run.

Green Bay Blue Ribbons flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring nine runs on four hits to take the lead, 9-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a walk by Bryce Duszak that drove in two.

Green Bay Blue Ribbons scored six runs on three hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. An error scored one run, Duszak singled, scoring one run, Robinson tripled, scoring three runs, and Caden Stanzel induced Zachary Grossmann to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

Green Bay Blue Ribbons scored six runs on six hits in the bottom of the sixth inning. Isaac Poehlman doubled, scoring one run, Grossmann hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Mason Sequin singled, scoring one run, Quinn Falish singled, scoring one run, and Drew Siudzinski doubled, scoring two runs.

Ian Aoki earned the win for Green Bay Blue Ribbons. The pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking one. Stenzel took the loss for Two Rivers Polar Bears . The reliever went two-thirds of an inning, giving up three runs on three hits, striking out one and walking one. Dylan Heier started on the mound for Green Bay Blue Ribbons. The hurler surrendered two hits and one run over three innings, striking out two and walking two. Evander Kummer stepped on the hill first for Two Rivers Polar Bears . The starting pitcher allowed two hits and six runs (five earned) over one and one-third innings, striking out none and walking four. Isaac Verbruggen tossed one inning of no-run ball for Green Bay Blue Ribbons in relief. The pitcher surrendered zero hits, striking out three and walking none.

Dakok Bielinski, the number seven hitter for Two Rivers Polar Bears , led the way with two runs batted in.
