ARENDT, PLEAU LEAD RIBBONS TO WIN OVER DENMARK

The Green Bay Blue Ribbons defeated the Denmark Devilbears 5-0 on Tuesday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Evan CichanofskyEaston Arendt, and Isaac Poehlman each pitched for Green Bay Blue Ribbons in the game. Cichanofsky struck out Abe Kapinos to get the last out.

Brayden Pleau collected three hits in three at bats in the win. Pleau tripled in the third inning, tripled in the fourth inning, and singled in the first inning.

A single by Garrett Brown put Green Bay Blue Ribbons on the board in the bottom of the second.

Green Bay Blue Ribbons added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Dawson Schmidt doubled to right field, and Bryce Duszak singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Arendt earned the win for Green Bay Blue Ribbons. The starter allowed two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking four. Brennen Miller took the loss for Denmark Devilbears. The pitcher went seven innings, giving up five runs on nine hits, striking out three and walking four. Cichanofsky and Poehlman each came on in relief for Green Bay Blue Ribbons and shutdown Denmark Devilbears.
