GREEN BAY WINS SECOND STRAIGHT
The Blue Ribbons picked up their second win in as many nights, as they jumped out to an early lead and cruised to an easy 11-1 victory over the Branch Blaze at Joannes Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Ribbons got things rolling right away with a seven-run first inning, that saw six hits and was highlighted by back-to-back triples from Jake Fietz and Eli Kramer.
Green Bay sent ten men to the plate in the inning and that would prove to be more than enough for starting pitcher Grant Maus, who went the distance for the Ribbons, allowing just one unearned run on three hits.
