FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 23, 2026
GREEN BAY, WI – The Green Bay Blue Ribbons unveiled their full schedule for the 2026 season today, with Opening Day slated for May 30th, when they welcome the Milwaukee Beavers to historic Joannes Stadium for a Saturday doubleheader.

The Blue Ribbons will once again be participating in the Wisconsin State League this season, while also scheduling many non-league games against top competition from Wisconsin and Illinois as well, playing a 48-game regular season schedule that includes 25 home games over 19 home dates.
Green Bay starts WSL play on Saturday, June 6th, hosting the West Allis Nationals in a 4:00 PM doubleheader, and the regular season wraps up with a non-league game against the Two Rivers Polar Bears at Joannes Stadium on Wednesday, July 29th at 7:30 PM.
The WSL’s Wisconsin State Tournament will be held in Oshkosh on August 1st and 2nd, and will feature the top four Class-A teams in the state of Wisconsin, squaring off in a double-elimination tournament for the title.
Other schedule highlights include:
May 28th – A favorite of both fans and players, the Blue Ribbons will once again hold their annual Red vs. Blue scrimmage, in combination with our traditional Media Day, as we prepare to get the 2026 season underway.
June 17th – The Blue Ribbons welcome back players from the past, as we induct our three newest members into our Hall of Fame on Alumni Night.
July 16th – Area youth are invited to join us at Joannes for our Youth Baseball/Softball Night. All kids that arrive to the ballpark in uniform will receive free admission for their entire family, and they’ll have the opportunity to take the field with our players for the National Anthem and run the bases after the game.
July 23rd – Another fan-favorite, we’ll celebrate Christmas in July when we face off with the Ashwaubenon Lookouts. There will be Christmas-themed games and prizes throughout the game, and a visit from Santa to throw out the first pitch.
July 25th – The inaugural Denny Ruh Classic will take place on Saturday, July 25th, pitting the current Blue Ribbons against a team made up of prospects and recent alumni. Starting at 3pm, the day will consist of either one nine-inning game, or two seven-inning contests, depending on the size of the rosters, and will be followed by our first ever Home Run Derby to conclude the evening.
2026 ticket prices remain affordable for all fans, with single-game admissions of $5 for adults, $3 for seniors (55+) and $1 for students (13-17), while kids 12 and under are always free with an adult. Season passes will also be available once again for the cost of $40 for all 25 Blue Ribbons home games played at Joannes Stadium.
