DEPREZ DAZZLES IN SHUTOUT WIN

Owen Deprez completely shut down the Sheboygan offense on Friday, going the distance in a rain-shortened 2-0 Blue Ribbons victory.

Deprez, the reigning Wisconsin State League Pitcher of the Year, scattered four hits and struck out nine to earn his third win of the year and drop his ERA to 0.69 on the season.

Brady LaViolette got the Ribbons on the board in his first at-bat back with the team, singling home Easton Arendt for an early 1-0 lead, and Payton Kohnle added an insurance run when he drove in Boone Kirst with a sixth inning single for the final margin of victory.
