Green Bay relied on strong pitching and the home run ball to take a pair of games on Sunday, finishing the weekend in the Wisconsin State League’s Fifth Game Challenge with a perfect 4-0 record.
In game one, Tavian Ramos made his Blue Ribbons debut, and picked up the win after going four scoreless innings. Matthew Eberhardt and Dylan Heier closed it out from there, with Heier locking down the save.
George McIntyre drove in all four runs for Green Bay, going 2-for-4 with a double and his first home run of the season, while Easton Arent went 3-for-3 with a walk and Trevor Vande Hey added a single and a double.

Game two followed a similar script, with Joe Anderson dominating on the mound over the first six scoreless innings.
The Blue Ribbons grabbed an early lead, following Easton Arendt’s first home run of the year in the first inning, with Arendt and Boone Kirst each contributing two hits as Green Bay took a 5-0 lead to the seventh.
West Allis mounted a rally late, scoring four runs against the Ribbons’ bullpen, but Evan Cichanofsky came on in relief with the tying run on base, and he managed to get the final three outs to collect the save and lock down the Green Bay victory.

The Blue Ribbons are off on Monday, then return to Joannes Stadium to face the Denmark Devilbears on First Responders Night on Tuesday.
