DEPREZ REACHES MILESTONE AS RIBBONS CRUISE TO VICTORY

Starting pitcher Owen Deprez surpassed the 200 career strikeout mark, and the Blue Ribbons offense came to life late, as Green Bay rolled over Manitowoc by a score of 10-0 on Opening Night at Joannes Stadium.

Deprez tossed five no-hit innings, striking out 11, then turned it over to the bullpen, with Matthew Eberhardt, Ky Mueller and Sawyer Larson each throwing a scoreless frame in the shutout win.

Shortstop George McIntyre led the offense, going 2-for-4 with a double, a triple and four runs scored, and left fielder Brayden Pleau added a pair of hits as well in the victory.

The Blue Ribbons are back in action on Thursday night, when they head to Denmark to take on the Devilbears, before returning home on Saturday to open up Wisconsin State League play with a 4:00 doubleheader against West Allis.
