The NEWBL playoffs started on Monday night, with Menasha rolling over Greater Green Bay by a score of 14-1.
The Ribbons grabbed an early lead when Trent Van Ess singled with two outs in the first, moved to third on a base hit by Josh Gates, and then came in to score on a wild pitch to make it 1-0.
It was all Menasha from there however, as the Macs scored two in the second, two in the third and three in the fourth against starting pitcher Bret Whiffen.
Menasha kept adding to their lead with a run in the sixth and two more in the seventh, before putting up four runs in the eighth for the final margin of victory.
