GREEN BAY DROPS TOUGH ONE TO SHEBOYGAN

Green Bay Blue Ribbons fell to Sheboygan A’s 2-1 on Wednesday at Wildwood Park, Sheboygan, WI on the final play of the game. The game was tied at one in the bottom of the seventh when Cal Casper singled, scoring one run.

Both teams were strong on the mound. Sheboygan A’s pitchers struck out 12, while Green Bay Blue Ribbons sat down eight.

Sheboygan A’s were the first to get on the board in the second when Lucas Lemons drew a walk, scoring one run.

Brayden Pleau walked, which helped Green Bay Blue Ribbons tie the game at one in the top of the fifth.

Tavian Ramos stepped on the mound first for Green Bay Blue Ribbons. The pitcher gave up two hits and one run (zero earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking four. Jared Reklaitis stepped on the hill first for Sheboygan A’s. The starter surrendered seven hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out 10 and walking two.
