RAMOS’ DOMINATING START HIGHLIGHTS BLUE RIBBONS SUNDAY

Both teams were strong on the mound on Sunday, but Green Bay Blue Ribbons defeated Addison Braves 3-1. Tavian Ramos started the game for Green Bay Blue Ribbons and recorded 18 outs.

Green Bay Blue Ribbons had trouble keeping up with West Allis Nationals in an 11-1 loss on Sunday at Wildwood Park, Sheboygan, WI.

West Allis Nationals got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Brian Huntzinger hit a sacrifice fly, and Nick Argersinger singled , each scoring one run.

A sacrifice fly by Andrew Carlson extended the West Allis Nationals lead to 3-0 in the bottom of the third inning.

West Allis Nationals scored five runs on two hits in the bottom of the sixth inning. Argersinger doubled, scoring two runs, Carlson singled, scoring one run, and Dalton Madsen hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs.

Dylan Heier stepped on the hill first for Green Bay Blue Ribbons. The starter allowed five hits and three runs over three innings, striking out none and walking four. Kaleb Zabielski led things off on the mound for West Allis Nationals. The pitcher surrendered one hit and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking none.

Green Bay Blue Ribbons tallied nine hits in the game. James Bornick went 3-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Noah Robinson collected two hits for Green Bay Blue Ribbons in three at bats.

West Allis Nationals piled up 10 hits in the game. Chance Ruby set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading West Allis Nationals with four hits in four at bats. Argersinger led West Allis Nationals with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 3-for-3 on the day. Zabielski led West Allis Nationals with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. West Allis Nationals were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Madsen made the most plays with eight.
