The Blue Ribbons saw their three-game winning streak snapped on Friday night as they were walked off by Waupaca, falling by a score of 4-3.
Quinn Falish got the start on the mound for Green Bay, and turned in an excellent start, going six innings while allowing just two runs, one earned, with eight strikeouts.
The Ribbons got a clutch two-out double from Landen Lozier in the top of the seventh to tie the game, at 2-2, then claimed the lead in the eighth when James Bornick came in to score to make it 3-2.
Tyler Blum followed Falish to the mound, and worked two scoreless innings of relief, but unfortunately, Green Bay could not hold the lead in the ninth.
Connor Medvecz came on to try and lock down the save, but the Lakemen tied the game on three walks and an error, then plated the winning run on a sacrifice fly to right field that ended the game.
The Blue Ribbons are right back at it on Saturday, hosting Kewaskum for a doubleheader at Joannes Stadium starting at noon.
