Green Bay traveled down the road to Appleton on Thursday night to play two NEWBL games with the Appleton Legends.

The Blue Ribbons came out swinging in game one, scoring five runs in the first inning as they rolled to a 10-1 victory.

Game two was a different story unfortunately, as the Ribbons were shutout on just three hits, falling by a score of 3-0. Singles by Jake Petasek, Bryson Webb and Ashton Long were the only offense the Blue Ribbons could manage, while starting pitcher Jake Hanson went five innings, allowing two earned runs, and Zach Lordo worked a scoreless inning of relief.
