GREEN BAY DROPS TWO TO ADDISON

The Blue Ribbons fell below .500 in Wisconsin State League play, dropping both ends of a doubleheader against the Addison Braves on Saturday.

Game one saw the Ribbons fall behind early and they could never quite catch up, losing to Addison by a score of 5-3.

Jake Petasek went 2-for-3 with a sac fly, and Bryson Webb contributed the only other hit for Green Bay. Taylor Middaugh turned in a quality start, allowing just two earned runs over six innings, and Zach Lordo worked the seventh.

Game two was over early, as Addison scored three in the first, three in the second and two in the third. They wound up scoring in each of the first six innings as they cruised to a 13-4 win over Green Bay.

The Blue Ribbons managed 11 hits as a team, with Garrett Foth going 2-for-3, while Bret Whiffen was the only pitcher that was unscored upon.
