PLAY BALL! 2020 SEASON FINALLY GETS UNDERWAY THIS WEEKEND

We know you’ve been anxiously waiting. And we’ve been waiting too. But after a month-long delay, we should finally be able to hear those two beautiful words this weekend. PLAY BALL!

The Greater Green Bay Blue Ribbons will kick off their 2020 season this weekend, with an exhibition game against the Hortonville Stars scheduled for Friday night in Hortonville (weather permitting).

Then on Saturday, the Ribbons will travel to Addison, Illinois to begin Wisconsin State League play, as they take on the Addison Braves, for a four-game series at Community Park, located at 120 East Oak Street in Addison.

The Blue Ribbons and the Braves will play a doubleheader on Saturday with game one scheduled for a 5:00 PM first pitch, and game two slated to follow.

The two teams will square off again on Sunday, in another doubleheader. First pitch of game one on Sunday is scheduled for 1:00 PM, with game two starting approximately 30 minutes after the first game is completed.

Greater Green Bay kicks off their home schedule, bringing Blue Ribbon baseball back to Joannes Stadium, with another exhibition game against Hortonville, on Wednesday, July 1st, before beginning NEWBL play against the Appleton Legends at “The Jo” the following Monday on July 6th.

We look forward to seeing you at the ballpark once again for another exciting, albeit abbreviated, season of baseball!
