Green Bay Blue Ribbons fell to Sheboygan A\u2019s 2-1 on Wednesday at Wildwood Park, Sheboygan, WI on the final play of the game. The game was tied at one in the bottom of the seventh when Cal Casper<\/strong> singled, scoring one run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both teams were strong on the mound. Sheboygan A\u2019s pitchers struck out 12, while Green Bay Blue Ribbons sat down eight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sheboygan A\u2019s were the first to get on the board in the second when Lucas Lemons<\/strong> drew a walk, scoring one run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brayden Pleau<\/strong> walked, which helped Green Bay Blue Ribbons tie the game at one in the top of the fifth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tavian Ramos<\/strong> stepped on the mound first for Green Bay Blue Ribbons. The pitcher gave up two hits and one run (zero earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking four. Jared Reklaitis<\/strong> stepped on the hill first for Sheboygan A\u2019s. The starter surrendered seven hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out 10 and walking two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boone Kirst<\/strong>, Easton Arendt<\/strong>, Bryce Duszak<\/strong>, Pleau<\/strong>, Brayden Steinbecker<\/strong>, Quinn Falish<\/strong>, and Landen Lozier<\/strong> each collected one hit for Green Bay Blue Ribbons. Pleau<\/strong> led Green Bay Blue Ribbons with one run batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Number seven hitter, Hudson Wagner<\/strong>, showed the depth of Sheboygan A\u2019s’s lineup, by leading them with two hits in three at bats. Casper<\/strong> led Sheboygan A\u2019s with one run batted in. The catcher went 1-for-3 on the day. Sheboygan A\u2019s had patience at the plate, amassing six walks for the game. Riley Palmquist<\/strong> and Lemons<\/strong> led the team with two free passes each. Lemons<\/strong> stole two bases. Sheboygan A\u2019s turned two double plays in the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
